Russian Children's Choir

Contact via Russkaya Cappella The Russian Children’s Choir is led by Svetlana Zvereva. The choir is based at the Orthodox school in Glasgow. A Russian language report on their performance at the Language Show in March 2016 can be read on the St Kentigern website.

The Georgian Choir is led by Frances Priest. It is an open Saturday group and welcomes new singers. They usually meet monthly on Saturdays as well as running various special workshops.

Join a choir
In conjunction with Russkaya Cappella’s 10th anniversary, in 2019, they have embarked on a big project – they are recording their first CD, to contain Kastalsky’s ‘Requiem for Fallen Brothers’ with the orchestral part arranged for string quintet by Graham Hair. They are planning to record a second CD, to include highlights from our repertoire, and to publish the music of a selection of items from their repertoire as well as a booklet about the choir.
